The British Laryngological Association Annual Conference 2025 is a one-day event at the Royal Society of Medicine focused on the latest advancements in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders.

Dear Colleagues,

I’m delighted to invite you to the BLA Conference 2025. Taking place on 3rd October at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, this one-day event is designed to bring together professionals dedicated to advancing care for patients with voice, airway, and swallowing disorders.

True to our mission, we aim to promote education, training, and discussion while showcasing the latest clinical and scientific research to drive advancements in laryngology. Whether you’re an ENT surgeon, Speech and Language Therapist, Respiratory Physician, Gastroenterologist, trainee, or allied health professional, this conference offers something for you.

Our scientific programme will feature keynote lectures, research presentations, and case discussions covering topics such as paediatric voice issues, chronic cough, breathing pattern disorders, manometry, and endoscopic techniques. We’ll also highlight emerging research and provide a platform for debate and collaboration. If you have research to share, we invite you to submit an abstract. How do I register for this event?

Registration is available on our website. You can sign up online and you will be sent all the information you need by email.

Is this event in person or virtual?

It is an in-person event at the Royal Society of Medicine, London, UK. However, the full conference will be available to view on the official BLA Talking Slides website exclusively to all registered delegates.

What is the cancellation policy?

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing to the Organising Secretariat, BLA at enquiries@britishlaryngological.org

Registration cancellations will be accepted until the 26th August 2024 with a refund as follows:

 

  • Emailed prior to 5 August 2024 Full refund less 10% administration fee
  • Emailed from 5 August until 26 August 2024 50% refund (or 50% payment to be made to BLA if fees not already paid at time of cancellation)
  • Emailed after 26 August 2024 No refunds will be given (or 100% payment to be made to BLA if fees not already paid at time of cancellation)

Can I get a CPD certificate for this event?

Accreditation with ENT UK has been applied for.

Certificates will be emailed to all delegates shortly after the conference. Delegates will be invited to complete an online evaluation form and then they will be able to download their certificate. Certificates of attendance will only be available for delegates who attend the conference.

How do I become a member of The BLA?

You can register to become a member of the BLA on our website. Once you’re signed up, you’ll be able to use your membership number to secure a discount on your Cutting Edge registration.
