2nd BLA/UEP joint meeting May 25 2024, Zagreb, Croatia

We would like to cordially invite you to attend the 2nd joint meeting between the British Laryngological Association (BLA) and the Union of the European Phoniatricians (UEP). After a successful inaugural meeting in London in September 2023, we continue our collaboration in Zagreb, Croatia, in May 2024.

The 2nd joint BLA/UEP one-day meeting will be of high scientific quality and offers great opportunity for exchanging of expert knowledge, clinical experience and scientific work in voice care and swallowing.

The meeting will offer a comprehensive update in voice and swallowing disorders including tips and pearls on professional voice management, from diagnostics to voice therapy and voice coaching. Participants will gain information in the latest strategies to address vocal fold scar and sulcus and dysplasia, including latest developments in laryngeal pacemakers. The podium will alternate with experienced experts that will provide an overview and opportunity for debate on laryngeal hypersensitivity as well as laryngopharyngeal reflux.

Attendees will get a grounding in current assessment and management of disorders affecting the upper oesophageal sphincter, including surgical and endoscopic interventions. This meeting will be of interest to ENT surgeons, Otorhinolaryngologists with interest in Phoniatrics or Laryngology, Consultant Laryngologists and Phoniatricians, Voice, Swallowing, Speech and Language therapists, Voice coaches and Acousticians.
