Membership Application

The BLA welcomes applications for membership from healthcare professionals with an interest in laryngology. We are particularly interested in applications from disciplines related to laryngology such as respiratory medicine, intensive stroke critical care, aneathesia, gastroenterology, thoracic surgery, speech therapy, physiology and research.

Membership is available in the following categories:

Full Member :

For ENT surgeons

Associate Member:

For healthcare professsionals including speech and language therapists

The BLA has deliberately has made the associate membership fee low at just £30 per annum because one of our primary aims is to encourage all disciplines to join in with our conferences, education and research.

Overseas Member:
For international colleagues with an interest in laryngology: 

Overseas membership is open to those with an interest in laryngology, who reside abroad and are approved by the Council. The BLA has deliberately has made the overseas membership fee low at just £30 per annum because one of our primary aims is to encourage all disciplines to join in with our conferences, education and research.

Trainee Member:

For medical students and those undertaking specialist training in ENT

Please note: 

New members should complete the membership application form including the provision of information regarding training and qualifications. Membership will be granted automatically for those who are laryngologists or speech and language therapists. Other applicants may have their applications reviewed at the discretion of the BLA Council

Start rolling with BLA and enjoy one full year of membership! You will now receive membership for exactly one year from the moment you renew or join as a new member.

What is rolling membership? 

Rolling membership means that your BLA membership will run for exactly one year. For renewing, returning or new members, your membership will run for one year from the date you join. 

Joining member example 

If you are new to BLA and join 20 July 2020, then your membership will expire on 19 July 2021.

 

Why the change? 

We are working to make BLA membership more flexible, providing more value to you with a full year of membership.
